Reading Celebration Week (Oct 29-Nov 2)

Bartram Springs will be participating in a reading celebration week starting on Monday October 29th.  Schedule is as follows:

Monday- Reading Celebration Kick-Off Assembly in the cafeteria

Tuesday- 5th Grade Wax Museum

Wednesday- Book Character Parade (Kindergarten only)

Thursday- Flashlight Reading Day

Friday- Dudes Do Read  as well as Fall Festival from 5pm-8pm

There will be no school on Friday as it's a teacher planning day.  All testing will take place on Thursday October 23, 2012.  Below is what we will be covering in class for reading...

Red Ribbon Week

This week is "Red Ribbon Week" and students are encouraged to participate in the daily activities to show their pledge to stay drug free!

Monday- Our Slipper will "Give drugs the slip"
Tuesday- Wear your favorite cap to "put a cap on drugs"
Wednesday- Let's "Sock it to drugs" by wearing crazy socks
Thursday- Wear sunglasses to  "Shade out drugs"

Field Trip Permission Slips

Just a reminder that field trip permission slips and money are due back no later than Friday (10/19).  Please be sure to send in cash only.  If you want to go on the field trip be sure that you have submitted your volunteer information to the county via www.duvalschools.org in order to be able to go on the classroom trips with us.
